Interview
Today deviantARTtimes presents you ozzzz2 a young fella with a lot of talent! Check it out!
T - Tell the readers a little about yourself: where do you live, where do you come from, etc.
O - I'm 17, Danish-Irish and i live in Kilkenny, in Ireland.
T - Your style is very unique. What are your influences?
O - I'm often inspired by illustrators like Chris Riddell and Alan Lee. I usually find new influences as i adopt new techniques and media. I'm also influenced by many artists here on DA.
T - Do you already work with art? What are your plans for the future?
O - At the moment I'm only in secondary school, but I plan on going to art college in Dublin in a year.
T - What kind of things you enjoy drawing?
O - I enjoy drawing fantasy or sometimes sci-fi, but my interests change quite often depending on what art I've seen recently. I find DA useful for getting new ideas
T - What are your favourite tecniques?
O - Well, my favourite medium is ballpoint pen, which is quite underappreciated as an art tool in my opinion. I often combine it with acrylic ink or watercolour paint for colour, sometimes with airbrush.
T - In your opinion, what are the easiest and the hardest things to draw?
O - hmmm... well i find observation drawing like still life or life drawing quite hard to do, cos it isn't something that I've practised a lot. I find drawing things from imagination easier to do, but it usually involves many hours of staring at blank paper or browsing DA to muster up good ideas
T - Thank you so much!
O - Thanks for this interview!
